The promoter is Foster Denovo Limited, registered in England and Wales under company number 05970987, with its registered office at Ruxley House, 2 Hamm Moor Lane, Addlestone, Surrey KT15 2SA, trading through Secondsight and National Pension Tracing Day.
The promotion is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by Bluewater Shopping Centre, Land Securities or any retailer unless Compliance and the relevant organisation confirm otherwise in writing.
The promotion is called Crack the Case.
The promotion will take place at the National Pension Tracing Day activation at Bluewater Shopping Centre, Bluewater Parkway, Dartford, Greenhithe, Kent DA9 9ST on Saturday 3 October 2026.
Entries open at 9:00am and close at 9:00pm British Summer Time on 3 October 2026. Entries received outside this period will not be valid.
The promotion is open to UK residents aged 18 or over, excluding employees and immediate family members of the Promoter, Bluewater Shopping Centre, Land Securities, the Promoter’s agencies and suppliers, and anyone professionally connected with the promotion.
Entry is free and no purchase or payment is required.
To enter, scan the QR code displayed at the activation, complete the online HubSpot form with your first name, last name, email address and one whole number guess, confirm the required eligibility and terms statement, and submit before the closing time.
Only one entry per person is permitted. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified. Entries submitted through agents, third parties, automated methods or bulk submissions are not permitted.
Entrants are responsible for providing accurate contact details. Incomplete, corrupted, late or otherwise ineligible entries will not be accepted.
There is one prize: a £100 Bluewater eGift Card delivered by email.
The eGift Card is subject to the issuer’s own terms, including any validity period and retailer exclusions. Bluewater currently states that its gift cards expire 12 months after issue, but the terms supplied with the issued eGift Card will apply.
There is no cash alternative. The prize is non transferable. If circumstances outside the Promoter’s reasonable control make the stated prize unavailable, the Promoter may substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
Before the promotion opens, the Promoter will record the number of coins contained in the case and secure the case so the contents remain unchanged during the promotion.
The winner will be the eligible entrant whose valid guess exactly matches the recorded number of coins. If there is no exact guess, the eligible entrant whose valid guess is closest to the recorded number will win.
If two or more eligible entries are equally close, one winner will be selected randomly from those tied entries under the supervision of an independent person.
The Promoter’s calculation and eligibility checks will be final, subject to applicable law and the requirement to administer the promotion fairly.
The provisional winner will be contacted using the email address submitted with the entry, normally within five working days after the promotion closes.
The provisional winner must respond within seven calendar days of the notification email and provide any reasonable information needed to confirm eligibility and deliver the prize.
If the provisional winner cannot be contacted after reasonable attempts, does not respond within the stated period, is ineligible or declines the prize, the Promoter may offer the prize to the next closest eligible entrant, applying the same tie break process where necessary.
The Promoter will arrange delivery of the prize by email as soon as reasonably practical and normally within 30 days after the closing date.
To demonstrate that a valid award took place, the Promoter will make the winner’s surname available to anyone who requests this information within 30 days after the winner is confirmed, unless the winner objects or asks for the information to be reduced.
The winner may object to the publication or availability of their information by telling the Promoter when contacted. The Promoter may still provide the winner’s details and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority if required.
The Promoter will use entrants’ names, email addresses, guesses and submission information to administer the promotion, validate entries, select and contact the winner, deliver the prize, handle enquiries and demonstrate that the promotion was administered fairly.
Entry is not conditional on agreeing to receive marketing. Any marketing consent presented on the entry form will be separate, optional and unticked, and may be withdrawn at any time.
Personal data will be handled in accordance with the applicable privacy notice linked from the entry form. The proposed notice is the Secondsight privacy policy.
Promotion entry data will be retained only for the period reasonably necessary to administer the promotion, resolve complaints and meet legal or regulatory obligations. Data connected with a separate marketing opt in will be managed under the applicable marketing and privacy rules.
The Promoter reserves the right to verify entries and to disqualify an entrant where it reasonably believes there has been a breach of these terms, fraud, dishonesty, manipulation, automated entry, tampering with the case or conduct that undermines the fair operation of the promotion.
The Promoter will maintain appropriate records of the coin total, entry validation, winner calculation, any tie break and prize delivery.
The Promoter may suspend, cancel or amend the promotion only where circumstances outside its reasonable control make this necessary. Any action will be taken fairly and with the aim of minimising disadvantage to entrants. The Promoter will not change the closing date or material conditions simply to increase participation or alter the chance of winning.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Subject to the previous paragraph, the Promoter is not responsible for failures or delays caused by events outside its reasonable control, or for entries that are lost, delayed, corrupted or not received because of technical problems outside its reasonable control.
By submitting an entry, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms will continue to apply.
These terms and the promotion are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights an entrant has as a consumer in another part of the UK.
Questions or complaints about the promotion should be sent to info@second-sight.com.
